I have compatibility issue with my Mac and my microsoft word. Every time I try and save a document in microsoft word.doc format it tells me that I have a compatibility issue that I need to change my. The workarounds are (1) open the document on my mac and 'convert' (from file menu) so it doesn't open in 'compatibility mode' anymore. On my work computer, the only thing I can do is manually change the extension to.doc., which allows me to open the document.
