Write MAC address of your motherboard. How to Write MAC Address of Your Motherboard Please open the chassis and you can find a white sticker at the edge of board with 12-digit MAC ID. Download Asus Other Drivers & Tools drivers, firmware, bios, tools, utilities.

What Asus is doing is blatantly anti-competitive and possibly illegal. This is the kind of thing that will make people switch to companies like MSI where hey released updates VBIOSes months ago that you could just flash using NVFlash, the tool that this one bundles. It would be best if the files were just provided on the support site, like all the other VBIOS updates, but if not, at least let the tool work with non-Asus motherboards, even if they can't be officially supported or just post the VBIOS files on this thread. For temporary purposes, here are links to the bios and UEFI GOP tool respectively. The rom is for a GTX 670 DCII TOP.

Flash Custom Recovery (TWRP/CWM/Philz/Other). Unlock Bootloader.

I match all criteria but the tool only verifies if its an asus mainboard and if not it's GOTO END. It's a bit ridiculous finding a random person to go to and open his computer to flash my vga card don't you agree? What factors do you need to get Win 8 Fast Boot running? Only these motherboards listed below support Win 8 Fast Boot, due to a major, ground-up re-write to make the UEFI spec compatible with the Win function (this doesn't just affect ASUS motherboards FYI). - All Intel 7 Series- Upcoming Intel 8 Series - Intel X79 Series updated to Win8 BIOS (3xxx) I believe that 99% of users share what you said! Idm download for mac. All think so! Asus, if you're knock once. It would be nice if asus did hear an official statement!

When I first got my Nexus 7 2013, I could access it as an MTP Device. However, I slowly lost the ability to connect as an MTP Device and by about 1.8.3 or so, I could only connect as CAMERA in USB Debug Mode. I really didn’t pursue this problem because I had no real need to connect as an MTP device, UNTIL NOW! It is not a USB driver issue.

I’d tried, a few days ago, using NRT 2.0.6 to upgrade my Nexus 6 from 5.1.1 to 6.0 (R). I did a full wipe of the phone. In common with others, I couldn’t get root – and before I even tried to root, the (so-called stock) upgrade gave me the infamous “your device is corrupt” message when I rebooted the phone. After displaying that message, the phone booted, and ran, fine. All the apps re-installed. But I couldn’t get root. After I flashed the 3 files under TWRP, I saw the corrupt message but this time the phone would NOT boot – it just powered off.

The USB is still connected, but sitting for 30 mins – nothing happens. Manually starting in bootloader (pwr & vol down) gives USB off sound and USB on sound. Running “Flash Stock & Reboot” goes like this: Flash Stock + Unroot —————————————————————— erasing ‘boot’ OKAY [ 1.160s] finished. Total time: 1.165s ******** Did you mean to fastboot format this partition? Erasing ‘cache’ OKAY [ 3.056s] finished. Total time: 3.061s erasing ‘recovery’ OKAY [ 0.176s] finished.

With support Android running Zenfone gets with this flash utility, we hear calling it Asus Zenfone Flash tool. Just as many similar flash applications, this is too come supporting through Windows PC. With the updated release of version, it now adds support for many Android running Zenfones making stock firmware flash and more similar to 100% success. But remember that it only supports RAW ROM packages.

I have 4.4.4 using a nexus 7 (2014). I just finally updated and I can’t get it to root. It is saying it is unlocked, as I have rooted it from 4.4.2 to 4.4.3 and on a friends nexus but using an earlier version of the program, 4.4.3 to 4.4.4. I have tried unlocking it again in case and it basically resets the tablet but does nothing else.

Asus: You suck with this! I match all criteria but the tool only verifies if its an asus mainboard and if not it's GOTO END.

Do not upgrade if you don't need to. (If it works, don't fix it ) What factors do you need to get Win 8 Fast Boot running? Despite others being 'UEFI' boards (P67, Z68 etc) they are not compatible with Win 8 Fast Boot even after you update to GOP UEFI on your graphics card. So, it's a Hybrid BIOS? Does that mean if I plan to upgrade my motherboard and OS to Win 8 later I can still update my GPU BIOS now?

Restore Stock Kernel. Fastboot Boot IMG files (Boot.img/Recovery.img). Fastboot Boot Custom or Stock Recovery.

Thank you buddy for posting this. Starting from your file, I modded your bios to match the non TOP 670 frequencies/voltages.

This should not be that difficult. Nobody is going to blame you if you offer the bios files and say use at your own risk.

Just a few clicks. Took a few tries to get the phone locked again. But its all stock now and ready for the OTA. Thanks again! You will be seeing a donation for your hard work and simplifying the process so drastically!

I received the “Success” message, went through the ADB Bootloader/Fastboot process, reverted to stock, and it’s unlocked. However, I’ve been using QBking77’s video, which is not exactly the same model, but appears to be as close as I could find to mine which uses the Toolkit. When I attempt to Root the phone while also Flashing a Custom Recovery, I receive the script message that the ADB Device was not found. In addition to being unlocked, I’ve unlocked Developer mode, activated USB debugging, and switched off MTP.

Got back into OS, a few settings had changed (dpi, kernel settings, etc) because I was no longer rooted. No problem, back to NRT, click “Root”, phone does it’s thingfinally get to the pop up that tells me what files to flash in TWRP, in the!readytoflash folder.

How do I load the UEFI BIOS onto the GTX650 if I cant run windows? I tested the motherboard with the UEFI tool and it is 'compatible' for running UEFI (It should be, it was loaded with UEFI by ASUS.) I would greatly appreciate any help or even a link to a page that provides the steps necessary to get this better card working. My most sincere thanks in advance. Thought I would report on my UEFI BIOS update success. Motherboard: ASUS P8H77-I Video Card: ASUS GTX670-DC2-2GD5 OS: Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit First, I updated my motherboard BIOS to the latest version.

11c0/11c08421 becomes 11C0/11C08421.txt and voila, you will see the contents of the.txt. A bit of explanation about these two example lines you will see; it's as simple as 'if x is found update to y'. [xx.xx.xx.xx.xxxx] NewVersion = yy.yy.yy.yy.yyyy You'll have to determine for yourself which update/file suits your graphics card the best. See which BIOS version is running on your graphics card using GPU-Z. -Now do some copy/pasting. Copy the number that is behind NewVersion, and paste it over the last part of the URL in your browser.

Keep it up and I'll treat you like I treat Apple and stay as far away as possible. What exactly do you mean by that? It's impossible not to save NVRAM. It saves bios from nvram but not OS ( not Redmond OS) ASUS made changes to NVRAM-related modules because of old BIOS bug called 'stuck turbo-multipliers', and they even introduced new NvramSmi.ffs EFI driver to make the work with NVRAM less buggy on their boards. Another part of this modification is a new protection of BIOS region introduced it the same 19xx/20xx versions, so now only USB BIOS Flashback and ASUS tools can write anything to BIOS region of the chip.
