When I first got my Nexus 7 2013, I could access it as an MTP Device. However, I slowly lost the ability to connect as an MTP Device and by about 1.8.3 or so, I could only connect as CAMERA in USB Debug Mode. I have 4.4.4 using a nexus 7 (2014). I just finally updated and I can’t get it to root. It is saying it is unlocked, as I have rooted it from 4.4.2 to 4.4.3 and on a friends nexus but using an earlier version of the program, 4.4.3 to 4.4.4. I have tried unlocking it again in case and it basically resets the tablet but does nothing else.

Just a few clicks. Took a few tries to get the phone locked again. But its all stock now and ready for the OTA. Thanks again! You will be seeing a donation for your hard work and simplifying the process so drastically!

I received the “Success” message, went through the ADB Bootloader/Fastboot process, reverted to stock, and it’s unlocked. However, I’ve been using QBking77’s video, which is not exactly the same model, but appears to be as close as I could find to mine which uses the Toolkit. When I attempt to Root the phone while also Flashing a Custom Recovery, I receive the script message that the ADB Device was not found. In addition to being unlocked, I’ve unlocked Developer mode, activated USB debugging, and switched off MTP.

Got back into OS, a few settings had changed (dpi, kernel settings, etc) because I was no longer rooted. No problem, back to NRT, click “Root”, phone does it’s thingfinally get to the pop up that tells me what files to flash in TWRP, in the!readytoflash folder.

How do I load the UEFI BIOS onto the GTX650 if I cant run windows? I tested the motherboard with the UEFI tool and it is 'compatible' for running UEFI (It should be, it was loaded with UEFI by ASUS.) Another part of this modification is a new protection of BIOS region introduced it the same 19xx/20xx versions, so now only USB BIOS Flashback and ASUS tools can write anything to BIOS region of the chip.
